When a shingle blows off in a storm or a slow leak finally shows up on your ceiling, you need a crew that answers the phone and shows up β not a call center that puts you on hold. Big Toms Roofing sends licensed, local Okemos roofers to your door, usually the same day you call.
We built Big Toms Roofing to fix a problem every homeowner in Okemos has run into: contractors who don't return calls, no-show for appointments, or pad the invoice once the tarp's already on the roof. Our Skylight Repair crews are local, licensed, and accountable β every estimate is in writing before a single shingle gets pulled.
Whether it's an emergency leak at 2am or a planned replacement you've been putting off, Big Toms Roofing brings the same certified crew and the same upfront pricing to every Okemos job.
A leak that starts as a small stain can rot decking and framing within weeks. Our emergency response teams treat every active-leak call in Okemos as urgent β temporary stabilization first, permanent fix scheduled right behind it.
A Skylight Repair replacement is one of the biggest investments a Okemos homeowner makes in their property, and we treat it that way β daily site cleanup, magnetic nail sweeps, and a final walkthrough with the crew lead before we consider the job done.
We work directly with property management companies and HOAs across Okemos to keep flat and low-slope roofs maintained on a predictable schedule, instead of waiting for emergency calls that disrupt business.
After a wind or hail event, insurance companies want documented proof of damage. Our inspection team photographs and reports storm damage in a format adjusters recognize, which speeds up claim approval.
Ice damming is a real problem in Okemos, MI winters when it happens. We install proper ice-and-water shield and improve attic insulation and ventilation to stop the freeze-thaw cycle that damages eaves.
Every one of these commitments exists because a Okemos homeowner asked for it, complained about a competitor's lack of it, or we learned it the hard way.
You'll know the exact scope and cost in writing before work starts, and that number doesn't move unless you approve a change.
Local dispatch means less time waiting and more time getting your roof actually fixed.
Our installers hold current manufacturer certifications, which means your warranty stays intact and the work meets code.
If something about the finished work doesn't sit right with you, call us back and we'll make it right β that's the deal.
Our team has sat through enough adjuster meetings in Okemos, MI to know what documentation actually moves a claim forward.
We treat your yard and driveway like we'd want ours treated β swept, protected, and cleared before we leave each day.
